Switch Plates

The switch plate is one of the most used yet overlooked accessories in our home. Decorative ones are fun, beautiful and easy to change. They not only turn on the lights, they turn on style:

• Switch plates can be changed often so they relate to the style of a room or just your personal fancy. Whimsical and formal designs are available to suit any decor.

It used to be that a switch plate was the last thing anybody thought about but they are now just one more area for personal expression and make decorating fun (figure A).

Since they aren't a major investment, switch plates bring a lot of character to a small area.

Recycle broken china or leftover tile pieces by creating a mosaic on a blank switch plate (figure B).
