Wall stripes add distinction and dimension to any room.
Wall Stripes

Renee Gunter suggests adding stripes to a wall with painters tape and a semigloss, clear polyurethane sealer. Just mark off the wall with thick painters tape, then apply the sealer with a paintbrush. This technique adds a matte stripe then a gloss stripe and looks different in various kinds of lighting.
