Combine scrap wood and doorknobs for a useful hat rack.
Materials:

scrap length of wood
doorknobs
drill
hex nuts
picture hooks
nails or screws

Steps:

  1. Clean and stain the wood as desired.
  2. Drill holes for the doorknobs; insert them through the wood and secure them in place with hex nuts.
  3. Nail or screw two picture hooks into the back to hang it.
