Recipe Wall

Designer Carol Schalla shows how to turn an old stack of recipe cards into a spectacular wall treatment.

Materials:

copied recipes
tape measure
primer
paint
water-based wallpaper paste
polyurethane

Steps:

1. Select recipes.
   
   
2. Measure wall.
   
   
3. Prime and paint wall.
   
   
4. Copy recipes on a photocopier.
   
   
5. Adhere copies to the wall with paste.
   
   
6. Apply polyurethane over copies.

* Note: The same concept can be applied with a different theme idea. For instance, you can create a decorative floral-print wall with scraps of floral wallpaper.
