Tool Parties for Women

Trend watchers say a growing number of women are becoming actively involved in home improvement and as such they're interested in tools. LeShaun Williams, an accomplished do-it-yourselfer and home-improvement professional, hosts tool parties geared to women. These gatherings introduce tools and their proper use through demonstrations. Some of the tools featured are specifically designed for women and are lighter in weight with smaller grips. According to Williams, it's all about empowering women, showing them how to use the tools skillfully so they can accomplish their own home improvement projects.
