She begins by changing the floor plan, moving it from an "L" shape to a more authentic square plan. Next, she adds another story, complete with brick wainscoting and symmetrical windows. Hammil completes the colonial look with an entry portico and leafy shrubs, all of which turn Walker's home into a true colonial home that really stands out.
