art cambric
Easy Blend stencil paint (#DEB 26 Neutral Grey, DEB21 Ebony Black)
odorless mineral spirits
paper towels

wallpaper brush
Steps:
- Position the first stencil on the art cambric and using the Easy Blend paint, follow the directions on the package. Continue for the entire set of overlays, using mineral spirits and paper towels to fade out the color through the openings on overlay #3 of each set.
- Cut out the arched shelf shape, leaving about a two-inch border. Hold the stenciled image up to the wall and position it so that the top shelf is at eye level. Use a carpenter's level to straighten the image and lightly trace around it with a pencil to get the wall position.
- Apply wallpaper paste to the back of the image; stick it in place and gently press out all bubbles.
- Use other stencils or hand-paint items to fill in the shelves.
