Figure A
Materials:

AquaBond (Off White)
AquaStone
AquaCreme
AquaColors (Earth Brown, Earth Green, Ochre Yellow, Autumn Brown)
natural sponge
6" trowel blade
cheesecloth
rubber gloves
brushes

Steps:

  1. Apply two base coats of AquaBond Off White. Allow to dry completely.
  2. Tint AquaCreme with AquaColors Earth Green and Earth Brown (1/2 gallon of each color will be enough for a 12' x 12' room). In a three- to four-foot area, apply the AquaCreme colors randomly to the surface and pat it off with cheesecloth to leave a stippled look. Let dry completely.
  3. Mix AquaStone thoroughly. Wearing rubber gloves, dip a sponge into the mixture and pat it onto the surface in a random pattern of various amounts. While still wet , use the trowel blade to scrape the stone smooth in vertical and some horizontal movements (figure A). Complete area and allow to dry completely.
  4. Tint AquaCreme with a combination of AquaColors Ochre Yellow, Autumn Brown and Earth Brown. Using this mix and the glaze from step 2, cover the surface in a slip -slap blended color movement. Use the cheesecloth to wipe off most of the AquaCreme , leaving a composition of random lighter and darker areas.
  5. Apply the AquaStone again as in step 3 but with less on the surface. Leave the natural AquaStone white or glaze once more as in step 4.
