Materials:
Aquabond Coral
AquaGlaze
two 3" paint rollers
two 2" to 4" chip brushes
cotton rags
1 quart Benjamin Moore Aquavelvet (#053)
1 quart Benjamin Moore Aquavelvet (#056)
paint trays
Steps:
- Apply two solid base coats of AquaBond Coral to walls. Allow to dry for two hours.
- Pour each of the Benjamin Moore paints into a separate container. Add four parts AquaGlaze to one part paint. Mix well. One quart of paint and one gallon of Aquaglaze should be enough to complete a 12'x12'x8' room.
- Pour each glaze into its own tray and use one roller for each color.
- Roll the colors onto the wall working an area no larger than 3'x3' at a time. Blend the two colors wet-into-wet as you apply them. Be careful not to create a pattern with the glaze as it's applied.
- With a hit-skip method, use cotton rags to blend colors together.
