Materials:
AquaBond coral
AquaGlaze
cotton rags
3 quarts Benjamin Moore Aquavelvet paint (one each of #053, #055 and #056)
Steps:
- Apply two solid base coats to walls with the AquaBond coral. Let dry two hours.
- Put each paint color into separate containers to mix glaze. Add four parts AquaGlaze to each one-part paint. Stir and mix well.
- Fold the cotton rags into pads and use one per color. Apply paint using the darkest color first, covering 1/3 of the working area (apply the glaze using a hit-skip-patting motion with hand in a vertical movement).
- Then use the mid-tone color, overlapping some of the first color and the bare wall. Use the lightest color last and softly blend the edges for a smooth transition.
