Materials:

AquaBond coral
AquaGlaze
cotton rags
3 quarts Benjamin Moore Aquavelvet paint (one each of #053, #055 and #056)

Steps:
  1. Apply two solid base coats to walls with the AquaBond coral. Let dry two hours.
  2. Put each paint color into separate containers to mix glaze. Add four parts AquaGlaze to each one-part paint. Stir and mix well.
  3. Fold the cotton rags into pads and use one per color. Apply paint using the darkest color first, covering 1/3 of the working area (apply the glaze using a hit-skip-patting motion with hand in a vertical movement).
  4. Then use the mid-tone color, overlapping some of the first color and the bare wall. Use the lightest color last and softly blend the edges for a smooth transition.
