Texture-Painted Window

Add new life to an old window with vibrant colors, glitter and crackle medium.

old window
glass cleaner
acrylic paints

paintbrushes (bristle and foam)

Steps:

Crackle Technique

1. Clean glass. Paint each glass pane in desired color (orange was used in the featured project) and let dry.
2. Apply crackle medium according to directions. When tacky, paint over it with another color (red was used in the featured project).

Glitter Technique

1. Clean glass and apply gold metallic paint. While wet, sprinkle on crystal glitter and let dry.
2. Load dry sponge brush with several colors of paint (don't mix the colors) and brush them over the glitter at once. Let dry.
