Materials:
string
pencil
long ruler
paint (Ballroom Gold)
2-1/2" angular paintbrush
Steps:
1. Determine the layout by measuring the width and length of the ceiling, and then find a common denominator of the two for a good-sized diamond. The featured sample board measured 48" x 48" inches so the diamonds measure 8" x 8". Make pencil marks every eight inches along the width and the length.
2. Use a piece of string as a guideline to pencil the diamonds on the ceiling. If working alone, use tape to hold the string in position. Start from the corners and place a long ruler along the line and draw a pencil line following the string.
3. Starting in one corner, work on one diamond at a time to apply the paint with even brush strokes, brushing in one direction. Reverse the brush direction for adjacent diamonds.
