Stick-On Designs

Use peel and stick transparent paint to update or embellish home accessories. Figure A

Materials:

Rainbow Peel and Stick paint
clear polystyrene blanks
black liquid leading
toothpicks
vase, mirror, frame, fridge, cupboards, etc.
scissors
paintbrush

Steps:

1. Place polystyrene blank over desired design or design combination (use fabric , wallpaper or a pattern book). Follow design lines with leading and let dry (about 24 hours).

2. Paint within leading using desired colors (use a toothpick to mix colors together for added depth). Let dry.

3. Peel off the designs and stick them to a clean surface until satisfied with the arrangement (figure A). Trim with scissors as needed.

4. For a mosaic look, put various colors on a blank and use a paintbrush to blend them together. Once dry, peel the paint off and cut it into pieces. Arrange in a mosaic pattern on chosen surface.
