Primo Primer and Clear Sealer
Iron Metallic Surfacer
Instant Rust
Copper Topper
Patina Green
metal, plastic, plaster, wood or concrete item
plastic gloves
foam brushes
natural bristle brush
clear acrylic finish
Steps :
Patina Green Copper Finish
- Use a bristle brush to prime the piece and allow it to dry completely.
- Use a foam brush to apply a thin coat of Copper Topper. Let dry 30 minutes.
- Apply a second coat of Copper Topper and let dry to the touch.
- Lightly apply the Patina Green solution using a bristle brush. The verdigris effect appears as the surface dries.
- If desired, apply a coat of acrylic finish.
Rusted Finish
- Use bristle brush to prime the piece and allow it to dry completely.
- Use a foam brush to apply a coat of Iron Metallic Surfacer. Let dry 30 minutes . Apply a second coat and let cure overnight.
- Apply Instant Rust solution using a bristle brush, covering the entire piece . The rusted effect appears as the surface dries.
- Tables and chairs must be sealed with a clear coat finish. For a natural rust finish, no sealer is required.
