Create the look of enamel on switch plates, cabinet knobs, picture frames and collectible boxes using a specially formulated paint.
Materials:

Decor-it paints - discontinued
Decor-it decorating stylus - discontinued
Decor-it switch plates, frames, jewelry box and cabinet knobs - discontinued

Steps:

  1. While working on a flat surface, apply background paint to knobs, switch plate , jewelry box or frame (featured items are designed with a small lip around the edges to hold paint). If working with other items, paint outline around outer edges and let dry before painting background color.
  2. Add droplets of contrasting colors directly from bottles of paint. Draw into droplets with stylus to create patterns (wipe tool off between strokes).
  3. Do not disturb the item for 24 hours to allow the paint to air dry to a glossy enamel-like finish.
