Aging a Gold Mirror

Tone down a bright gold mirror with black paint for instant warmth.
Materials:

paintbrush
rag
black latex satin paint
painter's tape

Steps:

  1. Mask-off the mirror for protection.
  2. Pounce small amounts of paint onto the surface with a paintbrush or use a damp rag to wash the color over the surface.
  3. Repeat application until desired depth of color is achieved.
