Wrench Shelving Unit

Materials:

all-thread piping
steel angle iron (like an old bed frame)
hacksaw
wrenches
1/4" glass for shelves
nuts, washers and screws
drill
cork pads

Steps :

  1. Assemble the nuts and washers onto the rods by spinning them to the desired shelf heights.
  2. Place a wrench between the two washers and tighten them down. Reinforce the shelving unit with angle iron by drilling a hole on either end and attach it to the rods with screws. Drill two more holes on the angle iron so it can be screwed to the wall.
  3. Stick cork pads to the wrenches to protect the glass from sliding or getting scratched. Slide in the glass shelves.

Iron Clock

Materials:

old iron
drill
clock mechanism
sandpaper
hand tools

Steps:

  1. Remove the metal faceplate from the iron. Drill a hole for the clock mechanism .
  2. Give it a light sanding to create a matte finish and remove scratches.
  3. Attach the clock mechanism.
