Rope Cabinet Handles

Matt Fox changed the handles to rope to fit the fish theme in this bathroom.

Materials:

rope
hot glue gun/glue

Steps:

  1. Cut off the desired length of rope and tie a knot about three inches up from one end.
  2. Cut two of the three strands off after the knot (figure A). This leaves the one strand that can be threaded into the small holes that are already in the cabinet door.
  3. Once it's through, tie a knot to hold it in place (figure B). Cut off the excess and add a bead of glue to keep it from unraveling. Repeat procedure with the top hole.

Tip: Make the rope fit the existing hole in the cabinet door because you may want to use conventional handles someday.
