When Mac and Joan Schwing built an Asian-inspired home in the California wine country, they discovered that they needed built-ins that they couldn’t buy at any store. So they turned to cabinetmaker Jaap Romijn. For the living room, Romijn designed and built a unique room divider with "his" and "her" aspects. For the dining room, he’s crafted a hidden dumbwaiter to carry food from the kitchen.
