Family Cottage

Pat interviews residential architect David Goehring, who is making plans for Karen and Brian's house. He show the new exterior elevations as well as the blueprints for the new interior. A computer animation shows what the house will look like after the remodeling is complete. This project saw many days of demolition before any framing could take place. The show highlights the installation of cabinets, a stairway and outdoor siding.

Finally, Pat tours Karen and Brian's finished remodel with their architect David Goehring. The spectacular exterior and interior changes are highlighted as the group reflects on what some of the "new" spaces used to look like. The homeowners speak about what it was like to watch the rebirth of their family home.
