Renewed Charm
Curb Appeal : Episode CRB-1213 -- More Projects »
Carolyn Bopp and Bob Seuss live in a mid-modern house that has lost all its mid-century charm. Neglected landscape, chipping paint and a run-down front door has our designer, Michael Loftis, spinning with new ideas. Hopefully, the homeowners will like his vibe. Here's how they accomplish it:
- new brighter paint colors
- a new garage door will break up the surfaces with steel and frosted glass
- at the front entry, a modern glass door to let in a lot of light
- a new landscape plan will add more geometrical elements
- a new walkway to breakup the landscape
- build retaining walls
- add a bench to the path
