House with a View

When Joan Fisher first got married, her husband promised to one-day build her a "House with A View." The former three-time Mrs. America always thought it would be on the east bench of Salt Lake City. It only took one trip to Springdale, Utah, just outside of Zion National Park for her to realize that her dream view was there .

The house's southwest design makes use of wrap around decks and patios as well as large floor to ceiling windows to literally entice visitors in from the front door entrance. The views from the interior of the expansive living room take in some of the most famous of the grand vistas that have made Zion one of America's most cherished national treasures. The end result is a house where the beauty of nature resides in an enclave of modern luxury and convenience.
