When their home of 20 years was gutted by fire, the homeowners decided to keep a positive outlook and see the fire as an opportunity to really create the home of their dreams. They added a third floor living area to take advantage of the home's location and great views. They also wanted to combine their artistic style with functionality in a relatively small living space.
Architect Steve Rajninger's design brought all the elements the homeowners requested and brought them together in a unique and artistic structure. Major changes include the third floor addition with living and kitchen space. The exterior is truly a work of art with lots of color and architectural elements including rear decks overlooking the new garden. Inside, the main floor is now private bedroom spaces and the third floor holds the public areas, all of which are bright colors and full of artwork. Other highlights include a two-story library and vibrant master bath.
