Dairy Loft

What would you call it if you bought the old, abandoned Carnation Dairy Processing Center, renovated it, and gave it a new life? Well obviously, the ReinCarnation Project! When Brenda Kayzar and David Shutt first saw the abandoned factory area they fell in love with it on the spot. Kayzar was ecstatic to find the "Eyes of Picasso," a famous mural in the San Diego area, was once been painted on the building. Since she always loved that mural, they considered it fate and bought the building right away.

Some neighbors remember getting Carnation ice cream from the building when they were kids, and they’re very impressed with the way David and Brenda changed it. Brenda and David are also impressed with themselves; these two suburbanites took a place that looked nothing like a home and turned it into their own piece or urban paradise.
