Owner Tao Campbell found an underground business opportunity in a remote cavern in southern Arkansas. She went to work and turned the former bomb shelter and bordello into a bed-and-breakfast. Living in a hole in the ground presents unique maintenance requirements such as dealing with natural rock formations that keep popping up.
Her belowground B&B boasts game rooms, comfortable beds and a gourmet kitchen. The five cozy guest rooms are complete with hot tubs and each features individual decor themes including a red-white-and-blue presidential room and a Victorian room stocked with funky antiques. One of Campbell's regular guests is the Ozark one-toothed bat.
