Steps:

1. Begin by carefully reading instructions that came with the shower door kit.

2. Measure the width of the tub using the folding rule(figure A). Measure along the side of the tub and between the walls where the top rail will fit (figure B).

3. Cut the bottom and top tracks to fit using the hacksaw (figure C). Smooth down the cut edges using the file.

4. Position pieces into place and secure temporarily with wide masking tape (figure D).

5. Mark points for mounting screws with a pencil (figure E).

6. Drill through ceramic tiles to make holes for the anchors (figure F).

7. Insert anchors for screws and tap them until they’re flush (figure G).

8. Sweep away any dust or debris.

9. Run a bead of caulk along bottom of track and place on tub (figure H). Use tape to hold track in place.

10. Position side bars and double-check to make sure they’re plumb. Attach side bars with screws provided with the kit (figure I).

11. Fit the top rack into place and secure (figure J). Hang doors in top rack and secure (figure K).

12. Attach any additional hardware such as towel racks and handles.
