Steps: 1. Remove the door by lifting it off the tracks and sit it on a level work surface . Remove the handle and use the flat head screwdriver to pry out the spline that holds the screen snug in its frame (figure B).
2. Once the spline is removed, lift out the old screen. Clean all debris from the track using the paintbrush (figure C).
3. Roll out the replacement screen, straighten it over the door, and leave an overhang of about three inches (figure D).
4. Secure both ends with squeeze clamps (figure E).
5. Start inserting the spline at one end, and work out all the slack as you go. When finished, the screen should be taut enough so it depresses about 1/4-inch when you press on it. Do not over tighten or you could tear the screen.
6. The screen roller tool has two ends, one smooth and one with a groove. Use the smooth end to press the screen into the groove, and the grooved end fits over the spline to press it into the groove and secure the screen.
7. Press the screen into the groove, and press the spline in to hold the screen in place (figure F). Cut off excess spline.
8. Now press the spline tightly into the groove, securing the screen, by using the grooved end of the screen roller (figure G). Use short strokes and constantly check the tension of the screen.
9. Use the utility knife to trim away excess screen (figure H). Reattach the handle and the door is ready to be put back in place.
