Pond Home

Sam Roberts chose an interesting 10th anniversary gift for his wife Rita: a plot of land for building a home. Unfortunately, there was a slight problem--it was dry as a bone because there was no water source for miles. So, the Robertses brought the water to them. With the help of architect Edward Knowles they built a 100 by 50 foot pond that now surrounds their home. In addition, they added a swimming pool that looks just as natural as the pond.
