In a growing urban area like Seattle, there are a lot of buildings that once had a use, and now sit empty. Fortunately, low-income housing organizations are seizing the opportunity to transform these structures into affordable housing for Seattle 's homeless and low-income residents. Dream Builder's visits the Puget Sound Naval Station which is now home to 94 formerly homeless men and women. Phase Two of the project is underway transforming the formerly abandoned base into a thriving community . Dream Builder's also visits the old Frye Hotel. Located in the heart of Seattle 's historic district this city landmark was renovated and is now a single occupancy residence project for low-income individuals.
