Mystery House

Dream Builders : Episode DRB-705 -- More Projects »
The Leu House was built on land acquired through Florida's Internal Improvement Act of 1855. The main portion of the house was built in 1888 by John Mizell, son to David Mizell, the only Sheriff in Orlando to die in the line of duty. After several renovations by different owners, Harry and Mary Jane Leu purchased the property in 1936. The Leus added many conveniences like indoor plumbing. Today the Leu House is owned and operated by the City of Orlando.
