21st Century Monticello

Thomas Jefferson's Monticello is one of the most famous homes in the country. It was built with enormous forethought and care, but what if it was built today? Patty Eastman is an architect who is building a 21st Century Monticello, using materials and technologies that she believes Jefferson would have used if he were around today . Architecturally the house will look the same, but inside the walls it's a different story. We'll get a behind-the-walls look at the project and talk to Patty about her unique vision. We'll also talk to one of Patty's builders about the challenges faced during construction.
