Two Townhouses

David Weiner decided to combine the best of old and new worlds in the restoration of an 1800s townhouse on Capitol Hill in Washington DC. Working with architect Mark McInturff, David restored the exterior facade of the townhouse according to local historic preservation rules. We'll learn from homeowner and architect about the challenges to gutting a historic structure while still retaining its historic facade .
