With the assistance of a federal grant, resident owned and managed companies are rebuilding their communities' low-income housing through the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles. Residents helping to rebuild their neighborhoods have established a moving company and a relocation assistance company, and also provide much of the required manual labor.
