Flowering Tunnel

Hosts John Greenlee and Jackie Cicchino show how to create a fabulous flowering tunnel that makes a great play structure for kids. The tunnel is constructed from two wire hoops or metal fencing. Two pieces of wood (1"x1" cut to four feet in length) and wooden stakes. After the simple structure of the tunnel is nailed together, an easy to grow climber (such as honeysuckle) is planted along the bottom of the structure. In time the plant will grow over the tunnel and fill in the gaps of the frame.
