It's easy to bring a little greenery indoors for your feline friends--try cat grass.
If you have feline pets, cat grass is good for digestion and helps with hair balls. Your cat can also roll around in it. To grow your own, here's what you need.

Materials:
packet of cat grass seed
shallow container
potting soil

Steps:

  • Fill the container with soil and mist it well. This helps to provide a moist bed--perfect for seed germination.

  • Sprinkle the seed generously over the top of the soil, then gently press it firm.

  • Spritz the seeds again and keep the bed nice and moist until germination occurs--which takes about five to 10 days. At that point, let the grass grow and water when needed. Then bring in the cats! If the grass gets a little too long, use scissors to trim it down.
