The sun garden takes advantage of the sunniest part of the terrace with a large low planter and an open space to sunbathe or gather around a fire pit at night. In the dining area, they create a bubbling water garden filled with plants like papyrus and lilies. Shade plants and climbing vines are used in the planter beside the dining area, and climbing hydrangea covers the shed and some of the cedar fence. Flagstone and moss covers the ground, adding a softer, more secluded feel. It's a garden sanctuary that's a true retreat from their busy city life.
