In this episode, we visit four gardens in Kansas City, Missouri. Powell Gardens feature three levels of cascading waterfalls. A rock wall winds through the garden , and is the perfect place for plants that like it hot; it is said to be the longest living wall the United States. At Jane Overesch's private garden, peacocks roam the rose garden, and an olive jar from Italy is the centerpiece of a walled garden . You will see a New Orleans courtyard surrounded by southern magnolias at the home of Brian Kissenger. Two gardeners created a fruitful garden with black raspberries from France and sweetpeas that resemble dainty orchids at the private Groebner garden .
