Juniper Level Garden

Clapp Garden

Visitors to this secluded Raleigh garden will applaud Anne Clapp's botanic know-how. Creating the garden on a hillside proved a real challenge, but Clapp decided to go with the flow and plant daffodils and camellias, punctuated by a few modern conveniences for her feathered friends.

Juniper Level Garden

For Tony Avent, variety is the spice of life and his North Carolina garden. Tony's garden exhibits some 8,000 plant types. Countrified columbines and exotic lilies turn this diverse space into an unending garden of discovery.

Montrose Garden

Sometimes it takes years to develop the perfect garden--sometimes even centuries. Montrose is the former home of William Alexander Graham, 19th century North Carolina governor and devoted gardener. In 1977, current owner Nancy Goodwin donned her gardening gloves and embedded her own style on the Montrose landscape. Verbena and honeysuckle display themselves elegantly in this long-lived historic garden.
