In its glory days at the turn of the 20th century, Blithewold Mansion and Gardens was a place to hobnob with high society. The great lawn was so big that in later years, friends could land their plane and drop by for a visit. The garden boasts one of the largest sequoia trees on the East Coast and a weeping hemlock that doubles as a secret garden room.
