Plant Markers for Kids

Kids will have fun designing their own plant markers and then watching their plants flourish.

Everyone loves leaving a mark in the garden, especially kids. Garden markers are just another way for kids to get their hands dirty. To make plant markers, you need blank white tiles, permanent markers and seed packets. Have the kids decorate the tiles by drawing pictures and writing the name of the plant on the tile: for example, a picture of corn next to the words "sweet corn." Then have the child place the marker near where you plant the seeds. They'll enjoy watching the plants grow even more after they've made their mark.
