The homeowners would like to enjoy the backyard and terrace of their new home, but a busy road runs behind their property. They need privacy from the road as well as something that will mask the sound of traffic. Landscape designer Kerri Hallahan has a solution--a small water fountain. The plan also includes a large tree to create privacy and afternoon shade. Evergreen shrubs will create structure and scale down the house.
