Make carrying gardening tools easy in a portable toolbox made from a drawer and leftover flooring.
Materials:

bureau drawer
scrap flooring with tongue and groove edges
wood glue
clamps
rubber mallet
double-sided cabinet hinges
scrap wood or drawer front
hand or jigsaw
screws
scrap wood for shelf and brackets
handle
2 doorknobs
screwdriver

Steps:

1. Cut the flooring to fit the front of the drawer to serve as doors. Apply wood glue to the edge of the flooring pieces; clamp them in place, and then use a rubber mallet to gently tap the pieces together. Once the glue is dry, set the doors on to the drawer to check the fit. You can make two half doors or one large one.

2. Screw the top of the double-sided hinge to the doors. Put the doors in place on the drawer and secure the remaining hinge side.

3. To make the cabinet stable, cut an old drawer front or a piece of scrap wood a little larger than the bottom of the drawer and attach it as a base with wood glue and screws.

4. Cut small rectangles of scrap wood to serve as shelf brackets. Attach with wood glue and screws. Cut the shelf to the appropriate width and make cutouts for the tool handles. Glue shelf in place.

5. Attach doorknobs to the front of the doors and a handle to the top of the cabinet for portability.
