If you're looking for an inexpensive way to liven up your garden, be sure to stop by a junkyard or even a garage sale.
With a little imagination put to work, you'll be surprised how you can turn other people's junk into jewels in your garden.

Are you tired of a tangled hose? Well, maybe you should check out tire rims. Simply attach one to a pole, and your hose goes around easily. The tire rim can also be used to lift pots of flowers up off the ground. It not only provides height but also allows the pot to drain easily.

If you want a border that looks very delicate but is tough as steel, why not use steel? We've taken rebar, bent it into shape, placed it in the soil, and we have a border that's going to be here forever.

Believe it or not, a grate from a stove can become a beautiful iron sculpture--definitely a keeper in the garden. Even the grills of old cars can be worked into a whimsical design--definitely a conversation piece.
