Quaker Home Gardens

An antique rocker with peeling paint makes a perfect accent in Cam Dutton's garden.

The historic Quaker home where Cam Dutton lives didn't have much of a yard, so she ended up creating three smaller gardens where she can retreat and steal moments of quiet time. Just off her country kitchen, Dutton has created a walled garden with a stone terrace. Pots of annuals and antique garden accessories accent the area. Another walled garden behind her house is called the "secret garden" and is filled with perennials and herbs. The third garden, on the side of her house, is the smallest of all, but Dutton didn't leave any green space undone, proving that a little bit of country can be found in even the smallest of spaces.
