Limestone gives a more natural look to a border.
Putting an edge around your garden adds structure and separates the garden from the lawn. Plus, it makes mowing a whole lot easier. There are lots of options when it comes to edging. From brick and stone to natural vines or plastic, your choice depends on the look you want to create and your budget.

If you want something solid, consider using brick or limestone. These are excellent edging materials and will last a lifetime. They are durable enough to withstand a lawnmower and weed trimmer.

Before you install limestone or brick, you need to dig out a half-inch of soil to make the stone level with the grass. The next step is placing the limestone or brick. Place them tightly against each other. It's best to pound them with a rubber mallet to make sure they're secure. You may need to add or take away soil underneath to adjust the level of the surface.
