The fountain adds a soothing and pleasant "white noise" to the environment.
A beautiful indoor water feature can lend ambiance to any room--as well as provide necessary humidity for nearby plants.

This water garden begins with a beautiful terra-cotta pot approximately two feet in diameter. The pot is double kiln-fired with glazing on the inside to prevent the pot from sweating on the outside.

  • Place the water pump on the floor of the pot next on the bottom near the wall of the pot (figure A).

  • Measure and cut the plastic tubing that will be connected to a shelf placed across the pot rim.

  • Add the rocks, placing different-sized stones till you achieve the look you want (figure B).

  • Before you completely cover the bottom of the pot, you may want to position a waterproof halogen lamp to create a pleasing bottom-lit effect (figure C).

  • With the lamp in place, continue adding rocks, both large and small.

  • Position the bamboo shelf and connect the tubing to the back of the spigot (figure D). Now it's time to add the water, plug everything in and enjoy.

You can further personalize the water garden by placing figurines or objets d'art on the rocks and shelf.
