Add a simple, festive flair to floral arranging by using bell peppers and Gerbera daises. The peppers serve as containers for the flowers. If your peppers are wobbly, just trim off the bottom a little bit, but don't cut the bottom completely through because the pepper will need to hold water. Here's how to make your own:

  1. Cut out the top of the bell pepper and remove the seeds.

  2. Fill the pepper with water.

  3. Place a single stem of a Gerbera daisy in the pepper, and trim the stem of the flower so it almost floats. Add interest by selecting flower and pepper colors that contrast with each other.

  4. Add a broad-leafed piece of foliage under the pepper to finish the design.

  5. Make several "pepper" pots and group them together for an easy centerpiece that you can create in a snap!
