Transform a plastic flowerpot into a naturalistic work of art with moss, bark and a little hot glue.
Create this natural-looking container from an old plastic pot.

Materials:
plastic pot
sheet moss
Spanish moss
pieces of bark
glue gun
plant

Steps:

  1. Glue the sheet moss to the side of the pot. Continue adding it until the container is completely covered.

  2. Trim away any excess moss from the bottom of the pot.

  3. Trim the bark to fit the height of the pot. Add glue on the back side of the bark and place the bark at an angle over the moss on the outside wall of the pot. Continue adding the bark in a crisscross pattern until the pot is fully covered.

  4. Place the plant inside and backfill the pot with soil.

  5. Use the Spanish moss to cover the soil and edge of the pot.
