Since the air plant (Tillandsia) doesn’t need any dirt or pot, it can be displayed simply by setting it on a candleholder.
The air plant, or tillandsia, is a type of plant that gets its nutrients from the air. That means it doesn’t need any dirt or pot, just a daily misting of water, to thrive. This characteristic also makes it a terrific plant for powder rooms, since it can be displayed in unusual ways. Try mounting it on a low candleholder, or use three slender candleholders of different heights to display a variety of tillandsia.
