Succulent Dish Garden

Create a delightful indoor planter that doesn't require much maintenance!

Materials:
shallow container with drainage holes
potting soil
variety of cacti and succulents
decorative stones

Steps:

1. Fill the pot with some soil. Don't fill it quite to the top, because the plants will take up some room.

2. Place your plants in any way that suits you. Cover the roots with soil. You can incorporate color into your dish garden by adding plants that bloom at different times.

3. Finish the dish garden with decorative stones (available in a variety of colors).

Don't worry if your dish garden looks a little messy at first. Occasional watering will help the plants settle into place. Enjoy your plants and be careful not to overwater.
